Tens of thousands of women and men fed up with femicide and xenophobic violence in South Africa marched in Sandton to close down the JSE. They have demanded a 2% levy on JSE listed companies to help in the fight against gender violence. JSE CEO, Nicky Newton-King, received a memorandum and promised protestors a reply within seven days.
