Opinionista, Rutendo Matinyarare, praises the South African government for calling for sanctions in Zimbabwe to be lifted.
His point of view is that the Zimbabweans calling for sanctions to be kept in place are those benefiting from hand-outs, those reluctant to work, those who do not see that sanctions are disempowering. Is there a case to argue to the contrary? Are sanctions a way to bring about democratic advancement – or a means of subjugating a nation?
